INTRODUCTION
In my first class of Think Lab Activity, I got to learn that how size and context correlated with
each other. I realized that if size is changed the context of the particular object also changes.
In the warm up activity we were shown few examples, so that we could understand it better, like when size was increased of hair comb and a fidget spinner it was used as bicycle stand and architectural building respectively.
In the main activity we were given objects and we had to change its size and context. For this we had to think out of the box The object selected by our group was scissors.
REFLECTION
As it was my first think lab session, It was quite tough in the beginning. There was a point of time when I was constantly looking at scissors and observing little details to come up with the ideas.
When I came up with an idea of a fan in shape of scissors, I realized that the sketch of the object should be drawn with different perspective.
While working with the basic object as scissors I realized, that there are so many little details which I never noticed before this activity.
While thinking of the ideas we were told not to change shape to greater extent, so my group was mostly imagining on how can we change the context of the scissor.
Towards the end, I had problem with time management because most of the time was used to come with different ideas, therefore the sketches I made were not up to the mark.
